Initially, I didn't know shit about Unreal when I made the poll for the game engine, and now I know enough to hopefully create the game now. From the start, this game was based on a scratch project, but I decided that the map layouts and color scheme should only be placed later on in the game. tl;dr: redmaze will be the final chapter of part 1. You'll understand once the game releases.
So far I've implemented movement mechanics, and am working on portals currently, which are pretty hard to implement if I plan on replicating Valve's methods.
I've also created a test map which you could access later on by opening the console. I plan on implementing .pak modding with maps and overall gameplay, although I've had trouble finding a way to do that. Oh well.

An FPS game with portals, grappling hooks, time control, wallrunning... what more could you ask for?
